Trouble installing 911sc rear trailing arm bushings

Hi all , having difficulty installing 2nd half of bushing just will not go in any further. Arm was heated and 1st went in ok. Have watched videos kavs911, mikes restorations and klassic training school and it seems so simple for them. Didn’t use the claw foot as per training school but others seem fine without it. Have tried using a vice and with threaded bar. This is the second time of trying so don’t want to mess up yet again. Have measured bushing length and it should fit ok. Have owned this car since 1988 so it’s much treasured. Any advice much appreciated.
