ODYSSEY PC925s. You can buy them with the (+) terminal on the left or right side. Perfect for dual battery set-ups. But they are tiny. The battery boxes dwarf them. I had to rig up a method to secure them out of an eye bolt and velcro.

Thanks. In 2006, I have ditched the dual setup for a single Optima on the driver side. I have noted that the this has not adversely affected handling.

4 years ago, I went to a single battery in the right box. I figured it would help compensate for my weight on the left side of the car.

When I got the car back from the metal/body/paint fellow, it had a battery big enough for a diesel semi in it.

I had read about Harry and others going to a single-battery configuration. I like the quirkiness of dual batteries. Other than that, no advantage I can see.

I found the culprit! Here's the before shot. Note the hi-beam strip in contact with the power and lo-beam contacts. This was the lo-beam position on the stalk.

Great tip on digging into that thing.

After shot.

Steering wheel removal was easier than expected but I'm sure glad I don't have to do that operation often. All those screws are flat-heads in the housing area -- what a pain in the a$$.

I ended up using my squat rack safety beam to brace the wheel. Perfect height.

Now I blind everybody on the road. Life is sweet.
