I am excited to here that setup as well

Anybody heard from Bryan/Achtungkraft lately?

I exchanged some emails with Bryan in November last year and put my name in for a pre-order of the new RS version of their muffler, but my last few emails have gone unanswered. He is normally quick to respond, so I'm actually concerned.

The slope is not slippery; in fact it is entirely frictionless.

Locally we had some bad weather and power outages recently so that may have something to do with it

I just installed the GT3 muffler and it sounds amazing. Can anyone share how and where they mounted the switch for the valve?

The transmitter is velcroed up under the dash (3M dual lock) and the switch is installed in a radio delete blank. I swapped the supplied switch for something a little more period correct. Any 12v dual throw momentary switch will work.

Thank you for the photo. My dilemma is that I still have a radio.

There are lots of places to hide it under the dash, mount it to a console, etc

Here's where mine is going when I finally receive my exhaust.

You could use a switch blank just above the radio, next to the defroster and fog light switches.

I added two buttons to mine (one to open, another to close) and keep it in the door pocket or glove box. There are instructions in the box for wiring up each function. Super simple.

I'm really considering buying one of these over the winter, but I'm on the fence because I currently love the sound of mine when I'm on it. What I don't like is pushing the car four houses down the street before I turn it on so I don't wake up my toddler from her nap.

Big favor, then, and maybe this has already been posted, but I'd love to see a video of the exhaust in different modes with audio right from the exhaust, like how I recorded mine in this video:https://youtu.be/GhWPfONFbnk?si=ZLfWB1qiT364deir. Just a gopro on a suction cup mounted underneath the spoiler.

Could anyone with this exhaust do something like this? I think it'd be killer, and, to me at least, the on-board audio gives a much better idea of tone than the fly-bys that I've seen so far.

Not that this directly applies to you but I am running a GTK Active muffler on my 914 and made a 2 part video on it. It is probably my favorite modification on old #6. I had the pleasure of driving to Rennsport 7 along side Leafgreen Matt and we made sure to open the valves through every single tunnel from Illinois to California, it was pretty epic. As a dude who made a living fabricating race cars and industrial equipment in a past life I can guarantee you that this is one of the bet built mufflers you will find. I personally am really happy with the sound and there is zero drone in my car.

So awesome…had a girlfriend in high school who thought the chorus of the Police tune “So Lonely” was “salami”. Now sing it with me: “Salami, salami, salami”.
