Oil Tank attachment '65-69
From a '68 911, I'm redoing my oil tank since a new one is $1K. It's missing the attachment bracket welded to the top of the tank in the pic. It's not a call-out part but part of the assy (PN 91110700169 or 91110700116). There are 2 brackets and I can fab something that looks like the existing one that does the trick. But I'm wondering if anyone has an old rusted out shell of a tank that still has the bracket they could cut off and send me instead.

Oil Tank Mount 65-69
Margabuck,
that mount is very simple in shape - with what looks like a bolt spot welded to it. From these photos you should be able to mock up and fab.    Good luck. |
