PCM single din and Hey Siri ....
So I've got a PCM single DIN radio in my 911SC and an amp. All works well, music, Waze, etc - but do not dare to say "hey Siri" to wake the beast as her voice will be an ear bleeding curl. Phone volume up/down, doesn't matter. Radio volume on 1 - still ear curling. Bluetooth vs. USB, no change. What gives? There has to be a setting I messed up bc it used to be just fine. Only running 2 co-ax' speakers in the door panels. Help?

Maybe ask your son/grandson? ;)

Should be able to “Siri Off” on the device that’s streaming if the option to shut off is not on the PCM unit interface.
“How to turn off Siri: If you find Siri's always-listening capability unsettling, there's good news. With iOS 9, Siri won't be automatically on. You have to activate it, by going to Settings>>General>>Siri. If you do activate Siri, but later want to turn it off, go to Settings>>General>>Siri, turn Siri off. “ – source from Kim Komando Ah high tech. Who doesn’t miss that flashing 12:00 on the VCR ? |
Change the voice. I have a polite English guy.
