Anyone can rebuild a 6V starter?
Does anyone know of a place that "will" rebuild a 6V starter for a 356? I live in the Bay Area and no one here can do it. The one that supposedly "tested" the starter applies 12V to it and declares it good. What incompetence!

Try Tom Conway at Carquip. He used to have Joe Leoni (of 356 Electrics) do them and sold them on a core exchange basis. 303-443-1343
