72 Blinker blues

The blinkers on my car work fine with engine off. If I start it they still work. But once I blipp the gas the fuse blows and they stop working.

Well, that's odd because there isn't anything attached to the throttle, electrical wise, on a 72. Have you checked around the cluster for a loose wire from the stop light switch?

Check charging voltage for overcharge.
