Weltmeister Bushing Alternatives
I've been on the hunt for a bushing that might fit as a replacement for the busted old dried rubber ones that were on my vehicle (79 911sc)
I am currently just doing the rear currently since that's where I am starting, but I am looking to swap the rear sway 22mm bushings out with polyurethane. I am looking for fronts as well that would work! I was hoping someone here has already gone down the line and tried to find alternatives that might have worked out for them. I was hoping to reuse the bracket itself (its pretty beefy) but I am open to swapping if i gotta. I saw some stuff about mustang bushings, but would love to see more confirmations ![]() I tried to measure out the OG bushing - but keep in mind it is pretty dried out and crumbling, so i did an approx For Clarity sake 42mm - Between Lips 22mm - ID 35mm - OD 6mm - Lip Height 3mm - Lip Width |

I think Superpro makes replacements, and Powerflex probably make them too.

Should be something pretty close from energy suspension. My main bar is ok but end links were gone so I had a local machine shop make me new ones out of a hard plastic like nylon or Delrin

Do y'all know if this is the OE bracket(bow) for the rear sway?
Powerflex got back to me, but I need to figure out if this came with the weltmeister or is OE - it looks like it COULD be oe Porsche ![]() ![]() ![]()

Those are Weltmeister if the picture is correct on Paragon Products site where this bushing clamp is still available.

I think Arlo911 is correct and Paragon is using a picture of OE part because:
In pic below you can see a Weltmeister bar with the additional clamp available back then if your 911 did not have a rear bar already. Looks different and is made from flat metal strap. If you search around for install instructions you will see that you were expected to use old clamps with their bushings when their bar kit was ordered.

thats interesting to see,
so its possible that maybe weltmeister started throwing in the bracket at some point? If they expected you to use your own bracket, maybe its safe to assume that the weltmeister rubber bushings were made to fit the OEM bracket, and maintained the same Porsche oem O.D. and then the weltmeister brackets could be possibly following the same rules? (just possibly reinforced) |

Did you have any luck?
I have Weltmeister adjustable sway bars on my car, 22mm rear and 18mm through the body front and need new bushings. Are there any sources out there? |
