Like I noted, a whole car went into the shop, the shop went under, and less than a whole car comes out. The parts did not disappear into the atmosphere. I'm not alone in this situation, but apparently most people are willing to walk away from the loss... I'm not.

Old thread but in performing due diligence on a 76 turbo, I came across this discussion. RS performed an engine out down to the metal repaint and restoration of the car. Given the information available online about RS Werks, I'm now a little concerned about the car.

There does appear to be positive feedback from some customers prior to Werks going belly up so I am in a bit of a cuandry.

Has anyone here had a car restored by Werks in the past and was pleased with the result?

I believe my car, a 72 T, was the last car out the shop before they closed as "RS Werks". They did a good job in repairing and restoring my car.
