Yeah sure..noise reduction...giggle. Just wait till your hotrod is screaming, "what?" " I can't hear you"
"I said you should have used 2 LAYERS"

I did the same thing, can't imagine what it would be like all stripped down, the inches of horse hair insulation were there for a reason along with the factory putt putt muffler.

Lol...yeah, I've heard my efforts are an exercise in futility. And considering these cars have the best sounding engines ever created, it's really a shame to hide the scream anyway. My nephew asked how someone is going to listen to music with the radio delete and I told him they just have to push down with their right foot. I guess skipping the deadening would have been like adding a subwoofer

I installed the RS door cards today, love the simplicity compared to the original setup.

I got the carpet installed, a tedious job but I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. There are a couple of pieces I may pull up a little and add some DAP weldbond to get them to stick and lay a little flatter but overall I think it looks really good. I also cleaned/polished my sill and carpet sill plates and got those installed. And I couldn't help myself, had to mock up a seat (Cobra Classic RS in black corduroy/vinyl) to see how they look...perfect! I just need to order some sliders as I figured out I can't make my stockers work.

And along with building the ultimate longhood rally car, I'm pretty sure my table project is going to set a new standard in the Porsche furniture world. Here's the current state of the table top, just needs the edge rounded, finish sanding, and the finish coat to make everything pop. If anyone is looking for a table for their man cave let me know, I'd definitely prefer to keep it in the Pelican community and not have to set up a Bring a Trailer auction for it.

The table top is done, even more spectacular than I could have imagined!
