My life long dream to own a 911
Hello,
I put together a video about my 33 year long journey to own a 911. It took over 100 hours of editing and 2 months of work to document everything - I would appreciate it if you gave it a chance. I also have an old build thread if you search through my username but its pretty old so I thought Id make a new post specifically for this video. Thank you!

Great story and the special connection you have with your Dad. Well done!
Make sure you change your oil when the engine is up to temperature. You need to check oil level when motor is running and on level ground. Easy to overfill. May be why your car was smoking at first. It had been sitting for years so that may have been the reason as well. I hope you will be driving your 911 more! They really don’t like to sit.

Great work pulling that all together!
Very cool that you have gotten to share the passion for Porsche with your Father, there is indeed something about air cooled 911's that defies explanation. I get an adrenaline charge every time I walk by mine in the garage, more of an adrenaline and endorphin blast when I start it and take it out for a drive. Come on dry pavement!!

Awesome story and thanks for sharing. I caught this on YouTube a couple of weeks ago during the daily treadmill torture. Very cool story, editing, and car.

The media skill/talent clearly runs in the family. Well done!
The connection between you and your is heartwarming and I thoroughly enjoyed watching. Now, about air-cooled being the “only way”…I loved my ‘87 but I also love my ‘03. You can have love for both. Anyway, back to the topic at hand… |

Tremendous take on familial relationships and the special relationship we have with these cars. They truly are special. Owned my 83 since April 83. Took it out yesterday and grinned for the rest of the day.
