Burgundy, but I'm biased.

If I ever got an early 911, it would have to be one of the vintage '70s groovy colors: Viper green, orange, the "safety" or "signal" colors, etc.

I love those colors on the early cars.

For real early 911 (66-67) it's gotta be "Bahama Yellow". That was the color of the first one I ever rode in (1967, Landstuhl, Germany). It only took me 30+ years to get one of my own ;)

It's called Aubergine, not eggplant, but I agree. It rocks. I officially voted for Tangerine though, since that's Scruffy's original color. :)

I vote for Bahama Yellow - period correct, reminiscient of a VW Bus color, and seems to glow like a sunset in the right light conditions.

Cheers!

Aubergine rules!

I was trying to find that green sporto targa pic from the early s registry site.

Slow 911, olive is way cool too. If that is your car...you are a lucky man.

jmohn, my first porsche was a 66 bahama yellow 912...1983 fresh outta high school. I loved that car.

Jim, me likes the wet look.

Here is another wonderful, early, period correct, green fav of mine

This is Kyle Weiner's way cool, Gary Emory preped, little race car.
