I was born in '71
My car was born in '74 subsequently, my girlfriend was born in '74, too! I have two ball and chains that are younger! Please dont' let my girlfriend see this post

I don't think this is depressing. I think its great to see so many young people keeping up these old cars and keeping them on the road. Its also nice to see such a wide span of ages with common intrests and hobbies.

The only car in the stable older than me is my '44 GPW (WWII Ford version of the military Jeep) and it only beats me by a year. I was out of high school before the 901 (911 no. 1) was introduced. It was a 356 world back then.

I'm 44 and my car is 21, but the car I sold, to make space for the 911, was a 1923 Packard touring car, which was 80 years old last January.
