i am lucky just to be able to work the new-fangled camera, which was so small i have already lost it.
sure do like the cinemascope version.

next trick would be to darken the sky a bit - I don't know how to do it, but I know you can do it in PhotoShop.

Have fun - the way to learn is to shoot a lot of pics and then look them over carefully.

Trees or telephone poles growing out of a person's head is a common mistake...

also never take pics in the middle of the day -- wait for early am or 1-2 hours before sundown...

You can add graduated tints and the like in Picasa quite easily, lots of stuff to play with and the software is free. I have Photoshop and others but Picasa does enough for me 99% of the time.





Before anyone says anything: I know they are rubbish, but it's nice to have a play about with stuff, see what works and what doesn't.

love the sepia tone. thanks for the help. i might try that out, i think there is some kind of photo program on the computer.

meanwhile, here is my favorite picture of a friends great-uncle. i am still trying to get story behind it.
they are a happy looking bunch.
