84 seats in a 70
I picked up some 84 seats to put into my 70. The rails are about 1" narrower on the 84s'. Is there an A-daptor kit available?
A fellow Pelican gave me a great deal on them so I don't have a lot invested in them yet. I'll checked our host but nothing came up. Jack Olsen what did you do? Does anyone have a pattern? I figured I can make them out of Aluminum.

I made some out of steel that I purchased at a local hardware shop. It was pretty easy. Simply drilled the holes. There was a link either here or the 912 forum. Do a search.
I would be concerned about using aluminum. Is it strong enough to hold you in if you were in an accident?

You should look at steel plates for this use.
You also need to consider how you will attach your seat belts. When i installed my 1977's in my '73, I had the adapter plates made up with a set of threaded "ears" to anchor the lap points. ANDREW15 - Thanks for the link. I was looking for that a while back and could not find it.
