Shades of Garth from Wayne's World:
We fear change If this is true, look forward to the usual suspects...y'know...the "God and Ferry rested on (pick the production date of their car)" crowd ...ranting and raving to no end. If this is a 4.1 joke, well played. Plenty of vagueness in the bait to stir up the pot.

WooHoo! Wayne, can I have a job??
Really though, I think it's great that Pelican is growing and Wayne and Tom continue w/ their success, but... I am really fat, dumb, & happy w/ Pelican the way it is and some things have to change as Pelican grows. I'm sure Wayne takes his loyal customers into account and proves that by asking what we think about things, but rightfully so his first concern is the business. Just thinking out loud here, I’m sure everything will be fine, really.

That is good news. Think what the shipping time (and cost) would be from Hawaii to the East Coast.

I'm torn between the 4/1 aspects of the announcement and the PPPP possibilities.

Wayne,
if this is real I hope you have put some serious thoughts into how to transfer the PP BBS servers with no downtime whatsoever. Maybe a WIFI link with a Honda generator. God forbid PP BBS being down for more than a day. I can see traumatized wifes, kids and significant others all over the country when we addicts can not go online but have to face real life all of a sudden. Think about this: Unidentified PP BBS member :"Wife, we need to talk!"Wife thinks: "... WTF, I didn't notice there was a power outage. The microwave clock is still on..."OMG Ingo

We would love to have you up here in Northern CA. Tons of P-cars, Leguna Seca, Sears Point (or whatever their calling it now). Traffic isn't that bad, yet and some great drivers roads.
