73E in FL
A guy stopped me yesterday as I was leaving the supermarket and getting into my car. Apparently he has a 1973 911E Targa in Brown, 58000 miles, FSH with all records, car is run regularly for just for pleasure. In his opinion the car is in all but 'showroom' condition with no rust whatsoever (I have not seen the car, these are his words not mine). He wants to sell the car and is looking for $13,000.
Opinions please. Anyone interested? |

Even for a Sepia Brown car, it's a very good deal if the desciption is accurate.
That's a big "if".

That's a damn good price if it's in showroom condition. I'm usually skeptical of Florida cars (apologies in advance to those of you in FL with nice ones).
At that price you'd even have room for a repaint

I'm sure you know this, but the E and S have the MFI, which is great when its great, but time and money consuming when it's not.
That said, I think the '73 E was the best of the early series, (Except for the bucks up S), and is probably the best driver of all, from the inception all the way up until the SC days. Great deal if it as he says.
