hi all iam looking at a 2.8 upgrade on my 77 911 and i remember a reply from Chris Striet i think saying you could bore out and replate (nikasil) them and use JE pistons.and did offer this servise i did a search but couldnt find the post iam looking for. thanks in advance Chuck

EBS can do it, I think they use US chrome for the replate. They both advertise in the big P car mags.

You can cut out the middle man and send the cylinders directly to US chrome and have them done.
We have used them on a few engines...3.2 to 3.4 etc.. US Chrome

thanks guys , does anyone remember if it was chris striet who posted on this awhile back also Ill be running E cams with webers.I thought he also offered this service.

Chris is a moderator on the racing/auto-x Board, might try to catch him there. I dont think he does that kind of work?? Re-plating is a big operation, he does do some fab stuff for people from time to time.
