Why the headlights from an earlier car? Is this really an '86? Was it a slant nose that was converted back to regular and they put the wrong headlights on?

my bro bought Sammy Haggar's place in Carmel - his wife must have made the cats live in the car cause the place is clean. of course maybe it was Samm- I - Haggar that lived there - the results from the teeth marks on a pencil haven't come back yet.

Where id you hear that? I though he was meticulous about his lambos. You would at least figure he would have them serviced so he could drive them and an oil change comes with the service, doesn't it.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA, I just told my mom and dad how much they are asking for that car. When I was younger I always remembered playing in my mom's porsche out in the garage. Then they sold it before I learned how to drive, I looked at some old pictures of it and asked my dad about it and found this out.

They ordered it from Rusnak here in Pasadena and picked it up at the factory. The car was a 1987 Cabriolet, Turbo body sans whale tail. It was championship white with a navy blue interior. So I guess they are pretty much the same car minues the whale tail and neither or my parents are famous actors. Plus I think the white/navy combo looks a heck of a lot better, the navy was so dark it almost looked black.

You must be very confused about something, those are the correct headlights that came with the car, (and all other 1986 U.S. 911s).

Slantnose/converted back to regular(??) WTF are you talking about?

Celebrity ownership, not worth a dollar

There is an ass for every seat. I wouldn't want my ass in his seat. Actors who pretend to have a brain and open their mouths for the good of all us little people, give me a pain.
Redford, Striesand, Penn, Garofalo, Bill Marhe (politically insignificant), the list goes on, get my $8 at the theater but after that it's hard for me to give a ***** about them. If I had a dollar............... OOPS sorry wrong forum.

PS: Mr. Kerry, why the long face?

So Henry, I guess then that the only real difference between you and Redford would be looks, money, talent, success and the fact that he doesn't know WTF you are, right?

I noticed the autographed photo is dated 12/99.
The Redford car I liked was the one he drove in the movie Spy Game. It was a green early 911. I would buy that car

I tried to buy Steven Spielberg's SC [1981 I think], but when I got down to the dealer it was gone. I think it went for about $11K [no celebrity premium - the dealer said he had all the documentation but wouldn't price it in]. I just wanted the car. The celebrity factor was mildly interesting, but . . .

It was 110K miles, targa, with mink paint [or whatever that color is]. The interior was some sort of fabric [orig] which I hadn't seen before. It was in nice shape per my eye.
