rare porsche colors

Never seen another in the color. This makes it rare. While I've come to really like the color, let's all remember there is a distinct difference between rare and desirable .

BTW, the color chart on the first page was funny - out of the 20 different colors you colr get for the 911 in 1980, 6 (30%) were some hue of brown. Now I know why there are so many brown 911s out there (at least in the DC area)! Gotta love the earth--tones of the late 70s and early 80s.

The only thing better than a Chiffon SC with no tail is a Chiffon 3.2 with no tail.

Honestly, I own a Chiffon car, and everyone seems to adore that color. I myself can take it or leave it. It's just the color that my car is, not particularly special to me.

I love Chiffon White. I call it "Instagram White," since it looks like that warm, washed-out white you get when you run a picture of a white Porsche through Instagram filters.

I wonder if mine is also Prussian Blue Metallic? Looks midnight at times, grape at others - the guy was having trouble selling it because it was 'grape' colored - but since it appears to be the same color as the Cabernet Sauvignon grapes we grow - it does not bother us a bit!!

Anyone have an idea what this color might be? It is NOT Albert Blue....might be Prussian Blue met.....

When I first bought mine I wasn't sold on chiffon. It's really grown on me.
