Fox Racing Shox?

I have seen them several times listed in Excellence, and I am wondering if anyone here is using them or know of them?
They seem to be pretty simple to adjust and the price don't seem too bad for this type of set. What do you think?

They make quality stuff for the bicycle industry, and I've heard good things about off-road products I think.

They make excellent motorcycle shocks. I would use them (for what that's worth).

Wasn't there a review of their shock setup in a recent Excellence? I remember that they performed better than a custom Bilstien setup.

Excellence, August '03.

I am thinking abou the setup, but I am waiting until the PCA racing rules are set for next year. One of the changes is to outlaw them in stock classes.

I'm very interested in these also. The Excellence article had high praise for these things. If someone here has first hand experience, I'd like to know what your experience has been.

I looked into using them on my stock class SC.

They are not legal for PCA stock classes because they relocate the spindle location (height) which is not allowed.

Also, they are really, really expensive. The pricing listed in Excellence is per each unit not each end of the car. Four grand seemed like a lot to spend on shocks to me.

I used to use an alloy, double adjustable unit on my racing motorcycle. A real high quality piece of equipment. I imagine they are reall high bucks.

I can second or thrid that they are very nice units for bikes. They were the cheap alternative to Ohlins suspension goodies.

I doub't they will outlawed since so many club races already use remote reservoir shocks
