Slantnose Owners.. Washer Bottle?

If you own an aftermarket Slantnose, what type of windshield washer bottle are you using? Pics?

The original is cut and reconfigured. I plastic welded mine back together. However, I've never used the washers and probably never will.

I may have illustrated conversion instructions at home if you're interested.

Rick,

Thanks for the reply. I would love to see your conversion instructions if you still have them. Could you post them here or email them to me?

Thanks!

The aftermarket slant I have came with a drink bottle as the washer bottle. I have removed all the pump and lines since I rewired the car and have never had the need for a washer and have really thought about welding up the holes where the nozzels are but I bet there is a law somewhere to prohibite
it. I never drive mine unless it perfect out anyway.

I looked this morn and couldn't find the file containing the info. I will continue my search when I get back home on Sunday night. Hopefully I'll have it by Monday morn.

Have a great weekend.

Mine came with a 1 ltr bottle which isn't worth didly **** when you live in a cilmate like ours where we can have the four seasons all in the same day. I quickly replaced it with 5 ltr one which just fits neatly beside the battery!

I looked last night for a few hours but came up dry on the binder full of pics and instructions. I'm almost postive I still have it but it's hiding from me. When I find I'll be sure to post (I'm still looking).

However, I did find a pic I believe to be of the modified bottle....sorry for the 1989 pic quality. You should be able to compare to an original bottle and see where the cutting and rewelding takes place. It's not too complicated.

At the time I used a high wattage soldering iron and scraps of the plastic I removed to weld the reconfigured bottle back together. I think I also used PC-7 epoxy to skim coat the sanded work area. It pressure tested fine when I was done.

If I were to do it now I would use the plastic welding kit from Harbor Freight @ $29. After welding you can sand work smooth and coat with Plastidip Spray.

Ooops, here's the pic. The arrows poin to the seam created from reconfiguration. I can't recall if the neck was redone. Compare against an original and it should be obvious.

Excellent Rick, thanks for the links and pic. That should get me moving in the right direction. That’s definitely a pic of the modified bottle, yours looks very close to the factory 930S bottle.
