Carrying 2 infants, 2 adults and a baby
How would a family of 5 fit in an SC cabrio?
I'm sure that Johnnie Glynn will want to know as his (virtual) wife gave birth to another beautiful daughter yesterday. Congratulations John. Sorry it is a bit off topic everyone. |

The SCs have that nice console by the shifter. Wouldn't work in an older car.

I have decided not to cram the wife and kids (12 & 8) in the 911 anymore. It just gets too loaded down/heavy to be much fun to drive that way. So it's only me, or me and the wife, or me and the kids, but not all. For family outings, I take the car with the airbags and other safety stuff.
Cheers.

I have had a total of 6 people (me and 5 kids ages 8-13) in my 911 once and only once (never again because of safety etc) for a ride down the block. My younger cousins thought it was the coolest thing on earth.

do you have a tail on the sc? somebody could sit on that...but they'd probably have to face backwards, kinda like riding on the back of a golf cart.

Thanks Mac, but I'm with Steve 87-911; will do kids or mum but not both. Sarah can have some peace and quiet while I bring the kids round to yours to trash the place & drink the fridge dry. Have enough family cars up here what with the Scenic, the G-wagen and new V50 coming too in the next few days, so the Cabrio will definitely never have to serve as mass transportation.
The girls and I like going out without mummy anyway, she only makes us slow down!
