H4 Headlight Question
A friendly co-worker informed me this morning that I have a headlight out. My car has the original European H4s on it that it was delivered with in '76 (originally a German car).
Anyway, I know "H4" bulbs can be procured at my FLAPS, but are these actually the same as what is required in a true H4 headlamp or do I need to go ahead and splurge on the $7 bulb from our host? Thanks, Mike

I am not 100% on this but I think that they are the exact same...I had some Bosch H4's delivered from our host for Christmas, and one of the bulbs had a broken connector. So I went to local Pep boys and got a replacement for like $ 8 - 9 bucks. Those bulbs were exactly the same..

Thanks, Phil. I will yank it out this evening and try my luck.
