Dallas/Ft Worth Meet, Breakfast, Oil Change and Drive - Feb 12
OK, this time we’re gonna drive….Whadaya think?
Saturday, February 12, we’ll meet up toward Highland Village (north side of Lewisville) for breakfast or coffee @ 8:30 AM. Breakfast place TBD – Ed and Mike, were looking for suggestions. At 9:15 we’ll bolt over to Mike’s (Lubemaster77) casa and coach the oil baron through his first oil change. Gojo will be provided – right Mike????? After a bit of frivolity and fun poking, we’re off to the races! We’re thinking a back road jaunt over to Texas Motor Speedway to see what’s happening on a Saturday. If nothing else, I say we watch Amac do donuts in the parking lot until his turbos glow bright red. Someone, please bring a vidcam! At that point we can grab lunch or go separate ways. Extra points to the one with the funniest hat. Who’s in? If you can’t make it, I’m not interested in the real reason, I expect an elaborate tale full of lies and deception. Written and photographic documentation should be submitted directly to me. (Photographs of attractive nekid chicks are highly encouraged.) Here is a map of the general area- ![]() mark@markwilson.net Last edited by Mark Wilson; 02-05-2005 at 08:57 AM.. |

Sorry .. I will miss that one ... the real reason being is my youngest son birthday. The tale is that I don't want to get dirty (oil .. yuck!!)
You guys enjoy a lot, going to do a drive with a 6,000 feet elevation change in 20 miles... :-)

Wow. I don't know. Mike's house is at least 90 seconds from mine.
Actually, there's a place called The Village Grill not far away, or an IHOP right down the road on 2499 just north of 3040. My car's in pieces while the cage is going in, but I'm 86% complete, and will finish it up next week (I'm in California this weekend). So, count me in!

Cool, Got an email from Jack Griffin earlier, he's going to try to arrange a tour of TMS for the group. If that firms up, I'll post it later. For a breakfast place, think about good parking.
Hey Drago, nothing will top the XXX, but we'll make do. Sure miss you guys. Jordi, wish you were here man! Mark |

Would've loved to hook up with you guys. I'm going to be in Dallas next week, arriving DFW Sunday night. Unfortunately, I'm heading back home Friday morning. You all have a good time.

I've got an idea for a nice route to TMS from Highland Village BTW. Nice curvy "bucolic" scenery.

I'll be there, but I'll have to drive my Cobra. I've got a pesky oil leak I'm trying to solve on the 911.
Regards, Jerry Kroeger

Breakfast Location Update: Seeing as how you all are willing to laugh at my ridiculus attempt to change my oil(s), here is an Open Invitation - the eats venue at my casa for grain feed angus and eggs, or if you are a vegan - I have 25lbs of prunes from Chico CA you can work through! Upside - good chow at a great price (free), downside, you have to pay attention to my two curtain climbers for no more than 3 mins.
If this seems like a doable thing, PM me and I will provide directions to my place in Highland Village. Looking at around 9ish?

Hey guys,
Looks like Saturday is gonna rain out - not much fun for our first drive. I'm thinking a postponement for a couple of weeks is in order. What do you guys think about Saturday Feb 26th? |

Looks like we will have to postpone the cow flesh / oil change date as well - I just spent 3+ hours in a clinic in SC for an upper res infection, flew up to Chitown - so I (and a few other not to mention names or illness to protect the innocent!) will have to push this one out. Sorry guys! I owe you guys big time and trust me - I pay off real well!
