2011 Air Cooled 911 NA & Turbo Engine Calendar

There's lots of cool engine pics here!

I brought this old thread up to let you know that I'm considering putting together a calendar consisting of air cooled NA & Turbo engines. If you think it's a great idea then post your pics at this thread.

Engine pics from my recent concours restoration of my early 1973 911 T in Gold metalic.
Engine built to true 2.7 RS spec; cams, heads, MFI system, distributor, etc.

"Air" muffler?

Very nice though.

Do the concours gods downgrade your car for having an RS-spec engine or does it appear T-like to them and the masses?

Here´s a small choice of our cars / engines.....

`70 T, Coupe ---> Exhaust is custom made stainless steel (like the 901 protoype, Bararossa); the oil tank is also custom made stainless steel (like the one from the 911 ST)

`73 911 RS, orig. 20.000km

´89 911 Speedster, orig. 6000mls

´92 964 RS (orig. German version)

´92 964 Turbo S2, one of twenty

Not trying to highjack this thread, but are there bolt-on Supercharger kits for stock 3.2 available?

That one's mine, 3.0 w/Zeniths

That is al lkosmal's 2.2 MFI beauty

The wicked 2.7 of Wolverine's

Great old thread, you can see the improvements and technologies increase over the years.
