Oh, Brother! - I haven't measured the width of my climate controls, but they look to be the same as the radio. This is why I'm thinking about two plates.

And yes, my climate controls also no longer work - so out they go. Evidentially, the weight savings is about 10 pounds.

I am still trying to figure out what route to take on the heat back date - I'll retain the auto-climate control and I guess the footwell blowers.

I may ditch the prehistoric -air circulation -confusing knob- dash thingies - never use them for anything. I could loose some weight and clean up the trunk by getting rid of alot of that stuff -

I think I really only need heat - never really drive in foul weather etc.

I was looking for a panel to take car of all of that - the Rennline dash panel is a little to racy for the car rigth now...

Better pics of plates and one using a different logo.

Also working on a climate control "cover" and different year models.

IN case anyone is interested, no connection with the vendor, but cool I guess:

Your plates look awesome. Seriously.

I am looking for a radio delete plate for a 1973 911E. Are either of the two styles shown in this thread available? Both the black plastic and the silver metal version look great. Thanks. steve.midgett@comcast.net

The cases of old IBM laptop computers make excellent interior trim. The texture is very nice. Can probably find cheap then just cut to fit as needed.
