Not to be pedantic, but is that technically narrow?

Hey, I love it! Just curious if my definition was not what everyone else's was!I always thought the narrow bodied was no flares front or rear. Maybe it's just front?

Wow...this thread is almost 20 years old. Just goes to show 911 hotrods are timeless.
But also, I really miss Foxy Brown...

Here's a quick snap from The Targa California last week. Did about 1500 miles with the best group of people!

I'd like to update my car now that it sits lower, the rocker trim is removed, and the fan and housing have been cerakoted.

MrBonus - Love the way it looks w/o the rocker panels and the current stance! What size/brand are your tires? I'm going with something different on my next set and would love some input!

They're 205/55/15 DZ102s which appear to be discontinued unfortunately on 15x7 Fuchs.

Some stunning cars in this thread. Great inspiration.
For those of you running 7x15 Fuchs on a lowered car, do you have raised spindles + bump steer kit? If not, how do you find the ride and handling? As I understand it, lower profile tyres (50 or 55) are required to fit 7" Fuchs on a narrow body so lowering to some extent is necessary so the tyres don't look lost in the arches. Bit of a balancing act maybe but MrBonus and Rosco_NZ look like they've hit the nail on the head. |
