lock washers on starter mounting studs?
Should I use lock washers on the studs for mounting the starter?
I'm not find ing any info on this in the PET, the catalog or in any threads... My car had a flat washer on each stud - but no lock washer. It has a 3.2L engine in it but uses a 1971 (911 type) transmission.

Mine also had flat washers and replaced with same. Couldn't hurt to replace with locks.

originaally they were spring washers. You know, the wavy kind. I'd go with a lock washer if you do not have the spring washers.
