Smoke Test
Hi All,
Car: 1982 911 SC CIS system.. I replace all rubber stuff on my CIS and did a smoke test. I plugged the hoses that went into the back of the large rubber boot on top and block off the throttle body as per JoeEngineer's youtube video.. Great Video by the way!! Except i input my smoke into the distributor vacuum retard line which go directly into the throttle body small front lower vacuum tube. I get no smoke leaks up top engine compartment, yeah!! BUT, I see smoke underneath the car, right behind the Oil Cooler, any idea what this could be? Maybe an exhaust vent of some sort? Shoulda got a picture.. Thanks Much, -Bill |
