The chat is interesting. Someone called "Mysterious" from a southern island on the eastern side of Australia was chatting with me on it last night. She (as her picture claimed) had no idea why there were some many cars in the forum. Strange, I thought because I thought that sight was only open to invite to Pelicanites. Nice picture, but you can't trust a picture in chat.

When you chat on that site, it bumps the map to the person's location that send the last message. Which is cool if you're chatting with a lot of people. But a bit annoying if you're searching an area for fellow Pelicanites.

Hi there,

Thanks for writing in with your concern. Actually, the problem is not that you don't remember your password, it's quite different. Back in October/November when you joined your pelicanites map we were a whole different animal. To join a map you did not need to create a separate personal account. Your markers were on the group map, but not really attached to anything. Anyone who joined in October/November has what I refer to as a disembodied pin. There is no profile you can link to by clicking on their name or pin. If you go experiment and click on your marker from November and then click on someone who joined this year you will see a marked difference in the balloon that pops up. You will not have an envelope, house or any link to your profile. The people who joined after you will.

So here's the annoying part. To make your membership functional and 'official' you will have to re-join this map, which will cause a profile to be created for you by us, and then ask the admin for this group to delete your old pin. If there is no admin for this group, email me again and I'll remove the old pin. Sorry for the inconvenience, but change is usually good, right?
