Any chance we could send you money for a copy or send you the media you would need?

my dvr programming can only see stuff about 9-10 days out, and it doesn't show it being re-aired in that time... you might want to go to the TLC website, though and see if they have a programming schedule. either way though, i'll be burning a copy and can hook you up if it's not going to air again.

Does anyone have an explanation as to why the Talladega run was intercut with the lame sales pitch for the 550 replicas? Did Fibersteel pay for the production or something?

I believe at one point one of the replica guys was talking about pride of workmanship while they showed him tightening a nut with an adjustable wrench.

I also liked the collector with the never-raced 962 who points out that he's never started the car's engine, but he's sure that if he did it would sound amazing.

But I'd happily sit through all of that to see the David Donohue/Jay Leno/Hayden Burvill stuff. That track and those cars looks like a fun combination.

I would love to be able to add some tackside insight about the Carrera GT records, it was a lot of fun.

However I signed a NDA with PCNA, so I dont have that freedom.

I can add that Porsche Ag decided to donate the Silver Carrera GT to the Red Cross to assist with their ongoing efforts around the globe. The car will be auctioned by Christie's at the Petersen Museum on November 18th.

Some other related memorabilia will be auctioned, including some Mark Donohue treasures donated by David.

Regards

Hayden

It pains me to read about these programs after they aired.
We need better communication about Porsche programs.
Any thoughts? A sticky perhaps. How about an e-mail alert.
Call me on my cell, anything AHHHHH!

I'm with Jack on the guy making the comment about the sounds of his 962. That had to be one of the stranger lines of the show. Such a shame... He seemed more excited about the fact that his cars had very low milage than the magic of driving, and/or seeing them and hearing them run. Looked like he had a very nice collection too...
