It's a pretty big scratch, so I'm guessing it may need something a little stronger...
Note: Darwin would be disappointed to discover that Driver sustained only 2 broken ankles. It is unknown how Driver has explained shunt to Owner [aka ex-friend]. (Owner is most likely waiting for Driver's ankles to heal so he can break them again.)

Start with rubbing compound, but I'm thinking some touch-up paint may be necessary.

I suppose it is too late for dentless paint removal, but I'm not entirely sure paintless dent removal is going to work either.

Not just that one, but all the tires need to be rebalanced now.
The insurace guy? "Due to the extent of the damage we agreed it would not be necessary put an estiamte together on this vehicle." You can tell by that crappy attitude that his pesimism is outweighed only by his laziness! I mean, what's his problem?!?

Where are those 'fiero/Ferrari-look' kit cars when you need them?

The lap top was running a a new software program to simulate what would thereotically happen to a Ferrari 612 Scaglietti if the driver were to lose control and crash while traveling at approximately 155mph.
Apparently, it runs on XP and there was some sort of error message with a 'click okay to continue'. The driver looked away 'just for a second', clicked 'okay' -and then, while doing only 150mph, promptly crashed into a parked car. The program indicated the car might be slightly damaged although the impact would destroy the computer. He's using a Mac these days...

Looks like it WAS a 360 Modena spyder to me... hard to say without an expert in autoforensics on hand.

Actually, I think you're right. I know the 612 doesn't have the rear intake. Probably a 360M or F430.
It was apparently difficult to confirm anything execpt it being a total loss.

Looks like 360 nostrils (at center of the car!!), 360 headlight opening at front, and 360 Targa hoops over what used to be the seat area.
I don't want to know what the driver looks like. Edward

You are cor-rect, Sir. Funny thing is, I didn't think twice about it NOT being a 612... with the engine there in the passengers seat it is easy to fathom the front-mounted v12 getting pushed into the car.
Nope. Not sure how that V8 got there. But if I recall correctly, it is used as a stressed structural member onto which many of the rear suspension pieces are mounted... which, I'm guessing, was probably scouped up by a truck and placed "shotgun". Seriously, the driver would have walked away... except for two broken ankles!! TWO BROKEN ANKLES!? No offense, but it doesn't sound appropriately painful relative to the degree of irresponsibility that presents itself as exhibit A. [see photo above]. It's simply amazing to think anyone could live through that kind of carnage...

Rubbing compound? Never.
You need JB Weld for that one.
