Fog Light Reconditioning - ‘85 911 Carrera

Greetings. Can anyone tell what is the best adhesive to reattach the glass lens to the plastic housing on a fog light assembly? Thank you!

I agressivly cleaned my old housing and glass of all old glue residue and bonded it back.together with a narrow bead of grey Silicone RTV.

The lenses on my '86 930 were so sand blasted that I lost 1/2 of the intensity of the fogs. I ended up buying new lenses here on PP.
