Wink She lost a little weight today

Spent the weekend doing a couple little upgrades to the M491

She lost her fog lights for the sake of allowing more air to flow into the oil cooler, I also closed off the bottom of the cooler area with some aluminum. And I blacked out the fuch's finally. Sorry for the bad pics, digi camera is down and all I had was my low cost video still.

Looks good! Maybe it's just the camera, but if not, you might want to get a new set of lug nuts. They kind of "pop" now that the fuchs are pure black.

Very agressive looking.

No A/C, no Sun Roof, no power windows. Fast and light, just the way I like it. (Sad to say, it's sold. But at least it remains with us on this board.)

I though so too before I cleaned them up, they actually look kind of nice in person, very raw aloy look. I was thinking ALL black might be too much. (year right)

That looks awesome. In your shoes, I'd paint the lug nuts black, though.

Q. Can a widebody be too black?

A. No, it can not.

Thanks Jack;
You know, I sanded the lug nuts and was about to primer them to paint them black, but then realised they would probably chip after a few R&R of the tires so I left them as is for now, I might order some anodized black ones though if they just dont look right after a while.

As a side note I also spent like 3 hours on Saturday tryin to fab up some air scoups smilar to the ones you have jack. (your 964 scoups) I was trying to make them out of aluminum but just couldnt get the angles right so I gave up. I'm defiently going to have to go with some hoses it looks like.

I added someweight to my car over this weekends, instead :lol:. As you guys all know, our car is too dark in the cabin when the sun came down. It's ok to drive, but when you need something, you are blind. So I added a little light deep in the edge, hard to see. When I need some lighting, I can turn in on and it's enough to light up around the middle of the dash area.
