2.4S + webers + 36mm venturis?
Anyone running 36's in their 2.4?
I have 34's now and always like to go the extra mile ![]() Worthwhile increase or overkill? Thanks as always! Cam

We are running 34's on our 2.7 built up engine and thats pushing it. Have you tried 32's? you may get better throttle response with the smaller chokes.

Hi Cam,
As Craig said, 36's are too big for a 2.4 unless you are using a race cam such as 906, Sprint, GE-80/GE-100, etc. For "S" cams, use 32mm or 34mm ones depending on what you are doing with the car and what gear ratios you have.

I agree with Steve, I never had much luck with 36s in a 2.4, and preferred, for all-purpose use, 32s over 34s. I found that 34s were fine on the track, where sustained high revs was the norm, but didn't like them for daily driving.
