Perfect. I have been wondering what a club sport valance would look like on a Zinmettalic SC. You just sold me on it! If you have more pictures please share! Thanks,

-Steve

That looks like the stock valence, minus the fog lights, no?

It was pretty damn incredible. I'm planning to do a write up on my suspension thread, but I can say that everything worked perfectly. So well balanced, so stable on the brakes, so predictable, and it never faltered lap after lap.

The biggest thing I learned was that I needed my sport seat (now installed), and I needed the Rennline dead pedal (soon to be installed). The handling was so good and strong, that I was tossed around like a shoe in a dryer!

Next track day, I'll be a bit more prepared.

Yes, it is a stock valence with that rubber chin spoiler. Front fog lights were optional back in the 1982 (M429) and my car does not have them. Not sure if all US cars had them, but my SC was originally sold in Germany.

From http://www.911clubsport.freeservers.com/
"As the car was devoided of fog lights, the front spoiler is similar to the 911 SC."

..so in a way you are both right

Navy Blue leatherette.

Originally the seats had at the front face an odd cloth that I don't know the name, with the rear face in navy blue leatherette.

Now it is full leatherette.

Thanks! There's something about the slightly raked stance with 9" rears that really makes the 911 look aggressive.

Finally did a clay bar and 3-stage polish on the 911SC. Paint isn't really that great, but it cleans up pretty well!

Cell phone pics leave a little to be desired, but get the point across.
