Hi
|
Relay for Heater Blower Motor
Hello Everyone,
The relay in the engine compartment for the heater blower motor has gone out in my 84 3.2. Looking at some of the past threads I've noticed that some of the relays are 25amp and some (mine) are 16amp. Can you tell me why? I'll probably just get a used one for now, these things are expensive for new ones. Thanks in advance.

Read up on backdating the heat system. Might be worth considering.

No but you get rid of that automatic stuff and the need for a relay.

And even with stock heat exchangers, you'll have plenty of heat after you backdate, so it's really a win-win.
