My Car

Greetings all,
I finally took a few (flattering) pics of my car. Or at least hopefully - laugh. I hope they come out on this site. I have not had much luck with posting a pic in the past. Anyway, the reasons why you only got one side is because I only got to waxing one side - laugh. Of course no pics of the inside - its completely trashed (except for the 930 steering wheel I installed last christmas.)

Ok, I can't post the pic??? Help! I will try again!

Try 800x600 or less you'll be okay. Test it be selecting "Preview."

Use your photo editor to size the pictures to 720 pixels wide.

If you don't have a photo editor, get the free app irfanview.

irfanview is a great day to day photo viewer/editor. Cnet has it for, as Jack mentions, free.

OK, The Clueless Marine finally figured it out. This way it looks pretty good - I think, but from the front - you'll see next, the guy I bought it from had replaced the left front fender. I Car Faxed the thing before I bought it, so I don't think it was in a wreck, and none of the mechanics that looked at it think this either. I guess he had dropped some building material on the car and dented the fender pretty badly. He just went ahead and replaced it. All well and good, but now the hood doesn't line up perfectly on the left. I've already had it checked out and it needs to be put on a frame straightening machine. Anyway, thats why you see the misalligned bumper in the next pic. BTW is this the Jack Olson with that awesome 911??? I drool over that car - Incredible!

Oh man, don't encourage him!

Actually, Jack is one of the nicest of the nice guys. His car is awesome and actually more awesome right now...he hasn't had time to sandblast it on the track much yet!

mbruno,

I noticed that you have a patch on your cabriolet cover on the driver's side corner.

I have about an inch long vertical tear in that exact same place. I'm wondering how you patched it and what type of fabric and thread you used. Any other particulars would be very useful. I can't see buying a new cover just because of the tear in mine.

Thanks,
Matt
