3 part exhaust Question

1, What year did California start Hyper restrictive Emissions parts on cars?

2, i think my car was origionally a California car, How can i tell if it has Hyper restrictive Emissions parts on it? (live in Pa, need cat anyway).

3, 1988 3.2L exhaust, the onsided one....Does the stock 3.2 have 1 or 2 Air/Fuel sensors....Thinking of future, going Dual exhaust, and wondering what kind of problems that might cause.

All US '88 Carreras had the same exhaust

there is 1 intake flapper type air meter and 1 O₂ exhaust gas sensor.

If you go to a dual header type exhaust the O₂ wil go on the drivers side bank.
