think of it this way, it weights so much less than the carrera 3.2L but is being powered by the modified carrera 3.2L MOTOR, so - NO, it's not slow

Stupid question, where is the fuel filler now?
Also, nice looking tires. Are they Yokohama A048s? What size where you able to squeeze in there?

That is a 'friggin beautiful automobile.

It makes me want to get off the computer, get in the garage and start working....

How did you do the rear reflector? Is it custom or is it just the actual reflector panel filled and painted? Where did you get the Porsche script for it?

I'm doing GT-Racings 74 IROC on an 3.2 Carrera. Similar, but mine will only need one parking space, not two, like yours.

What's the small red light on the left rear bumper? You appear to have all the normal signals already...

RSR

That is a great looking machine! How did you install the rear fiberglass fenders to the existing body work? Are the rear quarters removed completely or cut-away? Any idea for the parts cost on this re-build?

Cheers

rear quarters are cut-away at mid point, then bonded with the special marine glue that bonds fiberglass to metal + rivets + special brackets,e tc...

Idea of the cost ? <====

Dear m325ix,

First I hope my message finds you well. I have been admiring your RSR and I would much appreciate your advice for a similar project I am trying to finish.

I have a set of IROC rear quarter panels capable for accommodating 15"-wide rims and front fenders for 11"-wide rims. My questions relate to the choice of wheels and tyres:

1) What size wheels and tyres did you use for the front and rear?

2) How easy is to find alloy wheels of that size?

3) Did you have to build-in any offset in the wheels?

4) Did you need any spacers or adapters to off-set the wheels?

Your help would be much appreciated?

best wishes

Beautiful car!!

There is nothing more distracting at a DE than being behind one of these big hipped honeys. The one in the pic is a turbo and not only looked sweet the fire belching from the exhaust made me miss a few turn-ins and apexes. Not to mention the sweet smell of 111 octane it was burning. Thats me in the 737 car.
