I really don't believe that asking for a letter or email is too much, do you?

were i one of the complainants i'd have no problem sending a letter with full documentation of the problem. i don't really know why they haven't done this.

i don't, however, think it is an excuse for ignoring an issue like this. surely you guys at HQ look at the ad copy and say 'holy cow, how can they do it so cheaply?!'.

Berettafan,
I think Bruce quoted the $22K figure in Excellence, not Pano. Not sure, I'll have to look when I get home.

By the way, I sent Vu an account of my MM dealings.

My dealings with MM were sent to PCA at the time I had those dealings. I could dig it up again, however painfull, and send it off, again.

For the record, I also sent an email to Rennlist since MM is a sponser there. I did not ever hear back from anyone at Rennlist and have never renewed with or revisted since. At least PCA gave me a response.

I will continue to advise people to do their research before having a engine rebuilt by anyone, especially MM.

I am preparing to file against MM legally, and every other possible avenue. I paid around $8,000 and the motor failed with less than 2,000 miles on it. I had another PM tear it apart and there were obvious fraudulent claims and misrepresentations. I don't want to hurt my chances, so that's all I can say for now. However, I will keep this forum, and every other one apprised when appropriate.
