Need advice on selling car out of country
I have a potential buyer from Mexico for my car.
What is the best way to proceed for a safe transaction for the both of us, ie: money transfer. The buyer has said that shipping is no problem for him and will handle everything. Jack. |

Have him meet you at the bank with cash.
Let me guess, he agreed to your asking price without a counter offer? Tom |

Wire the money is the only safe way to be sure you have the money, other than a cash in hand transaction. Bank drafts (from out of the US) still take 2 weeks to clear - even if they are from an international money mart.
I purchased both of my 911s out of the US. The first time I wired the money direct to the selller's bank account, the second time I flew down and paid cash.

What year is your car Jack??
I´m asking this because I'm from Mexico and when I bought Don Ramsay's car it was quite the hassle with the import export procedure, and there is a year limit to import cars to Mexico. If you are selling a mid 90's car you may be into some sort of scam... email me if you have any questions cjpani@gmail.com Carlos
