Is the paint code 944?

I have a 1977 that is surposed to be platinum metallic, but dosen't look much like yours.

Yep, My 83SC is nearly the identical color.. The pain color for mine is Zeitgelrot (AKA Metallic Dark Brick red) and looks exactly the same as the other three pictures.. :-)..

There is at least one other near identical in the Portland area. A

Black Metallic Clear - don't seem to see many.

Anyone have a metallic brown? Did not like the colour when i first bought her, but it grows on you...

Very refreshing to see the myriad of amazing colors. I'm still searching for my first P-car, and judging by what's for sale, 50% of the cars sold were red, 20% black, 10% white or gray, and 20% all the rest.... Thanks for sharing!
