Who can repair my Webasto gas heater?
Hi,
I was wondering if anyone could recommend someone who can repair Webasto gas heaters? I will be using a sports exhaust on my 67 911S - so will not be able to use heat exchangers, so I would quite like to get the Webasto working again. It looks more or less complete, the exhaust is broken off/missing though and my mechanic tested it and he told me that it is broken. Thanks for your help! Anthony |
Webasto is still in business. Maybe you could contact them for repair, or for a repair referral?

Damon @ Series900 makes replacement parts for these. He is a member of this board, although not an extremely frequent poster. He is located in Sunapee, NH, and I would recommend giving him a call.

FYI - I have contacted Webasto in Germany, and they do not have any spare parts and are no longer willing to rebuild broken units.

Ditto on Damon @ Series 900, he is a font of knowledge on the Webasto heaters.

Webasto also has U.S. operations here in the Michigan, they have a complex in Auburn Hills I think, I can see it from the expressway as I drive by. Most of the German suppliers now have U.S. operations here in Michigan.
