Porsches at Old Riverside
Fellow Pelicans,
Do any of you have old photos of Porsches running on the old Riverside Raceway Course in California. I was cleaning out my desk this weekend and came across an old IMSA Program for the last race that was run there and I'd like to see some more photos. I went to school out at UCR and alway ditched to go over to RIR whenever I could. Please post anything you might have if you can. Dirty Marty Fallbrook,CA

Yeah...that racetrack is still missed. If it makes you feel any better, the mall they built there now has a high vacancy rate and is losing money for the investors.

I think I'm getting depressed, I remember being at Riverside and seeing all, I mean ALL, these cars.............where has the time gone.
As far as tearing down the mall to build a race track, let's start...........California has enough malls and wouldn't miss one. I was at that mall late one night and pulled into the lot around 3 A.M. I swear I could here Donahue's 917 wiping through what were the Ss.......... Dirty Marty, Fallbrook,CA [

I still have my Riverside gearing charts and more.
”Riverside Int'l. Raceway 1987/ old pelicans ?“ as above on p. 2. They may make more money turning the mall back into a racetrack.  I’m ready. Best, Grady
