Are there parts manuals available for a 1984 911 Turbo Look either factory or reprints? I saw some postings going back to 2000, but the links were no longer working.
Thanks, Mitch |

Harry, since you're so knowledgeable and my local Porsche Parts Man is not, one more question...
Is there anyway I can get the original "build sheets" for my car? Thanks, Mitch P.S. I liked you red racer...

Mitch,
As far as I know, the window sticker will likely not be able to be replaced, however, PCNA in Georgia can sell you a Certificate of Authenticity for your VIN and give you original color and options. Do a search for Certificate of Authenticity and/or COA and you should be able to get more details. I think the fee is about 100 or 125 bucks. If you look on the underside of the hood you will see a sticker with option codes. Those can be decoded as well if you post them.

Tony,
Bless you my Son... I've talked to the local Porsche dealer, I've called PNA Customer Service and have only gotten a big "no". Great information, I really appreciate it. Mitch

I picked up a PET, parts manual, on e-bay for about $15. About the best $15 i've ever spent. Besides giving the part numbers it makes almost everything I work on make more sense.

Pelican carries this Porsche PDF Catalogue They are temporarily out but it is great to have. Same info as you can get online but I can never find the online site when I need it.

Michael, Thanks for your help... TonyTheTarga came through with a link to download a PDF file from Porsche of North America's web site:
http://www.porsche.com/filestore.aspx/default.pdf?pool=usa&type=download&id=1ae0ec77-7a5b-4245-9fbb-2e1a4d4e702d&lang=none&filetype=default For $90.95 you can obtain a "Certificate of Authenticity" for your car. What a great resource the Pelican Parts web site is. Thanks to all.... Mitch
