Caliper rebuild question...honing

Would someone please recommend a good way to hone the piston chambers on the caliper? I have seen some tools for honing out the chamber but there is no way to do it on a two piston caliper without separating them. Someone suggested an emory cloth but will that do the trick?

If this is on your SC you probably don't need to worry about honing the bores in the calipers. The only part in the bore that should contact the piston is the rubber seal. Focus on your pistons - if they are pitted in the area that articulates with the rubber seal you need to remove those pits or replace the pistons.

If the inside of the bores are gunked up, just clean them out well with some brake parts cleaner and maybe polish them with emory cloth if you want. Make sure that the grooves that hold the rubber seals are free of debris.
