Hot start relay and oil line questions
With help, I removed the engine out of my 72 911T a few months ago (tensioner update, clutch, etc.) and now she is so close to being put back together. However, I have run into a few issues that hopefully you guys can help with:
1. Interference with the soft oil line with the right rear wheel. It fit perfectly and looks correct, but obviously something is not right. It is not a matter of a few inches either. 2. The starter 'hot start' relay is wired incorrectly. I obviously did not do a good job labeling the wiring as it won't even turn over. I pulled the wiring diagram for this and I still can't figure it out. I drew a diagram of the label on the relay. There are 4 red wires with different markings-- green, blue, black and unmarked. Little help? ![]() Thanks in advance.

You have the oil line reversed. The end with the "L" shape goes on the cooler.

Thanks Kurt. Do I have to drain the oil to fix the line?
Any clues on the starter?
