Fancy air box covers-who needs e'm

I have found a new fabricator to make my air box covers and they can make them out of carbon fiber cheaper than my old vendor can make them in f/g and I won't have to sand and paint them. I will have to order bout 100 at a time but I will have less work for me and probably can get the retail down some. Do you think more people will buy them in carbon fiber? I am not sure that many more people will buy at say $159.00 rather than $189.00 they are now. I haven't got a firm quote yet but the estimates are looking good.
Carbon fiber yes or no. They will not be offered in both finishes.

CF is bling, but it works. Go for it because, as you say, it can be painted if the customer doesn't like the look of CF. Price is everything.

I like this one but I would prefer it to be black so it looks kinda stock.

I've thought about fabbing one. It looks pretty simple.

The one I think that has the most appeal is the RUF design which I think is a variation on the 959 design. Anyway, the RUF type might make a more interesting product. my 2 cents.

I to like the Ruff design but believe it or not that design is harder and more expensive to make than my design.

Jerry, this design has to be easy enough. It offers plenty of air intake and protection. You should be able to get these made cheap. It would be nice to pick them up for $100 or less.
